Fujitsu has recently released an updated version of its rugged RFID Laundry tag (formerly, the WT-A521). This improved version incorporates the latest materials in RFID technology as well as a new, innovative antenna design. The Fujitsu RFID laundry tag has long been among the industry’s leaders in durability along with being one of the only washable RFID tags able to sustain high pressure environments. This updated version will combine this tag’s well-known features with a significantly higher readability rate of about 30%-70% which will ensure greater accuracy in RFID systems.
The newer Fujitsu tag has the ability to withstand over 200 washes and has been given a new product code, the WT-A522. The new WT-A522 RFID tags can also withstand 60 bar of extraction pressure which is a significant increase compared to its predecessor. If you are looking for an RFID laundry tag for high pressure environments, the WT-A522 may suit you well.
